It has been a tough afternoon for the remaining three yachts in the Sevenstar Round Britain &amp; Ireland Race as they head for home battling against the strong tides along the South Coast of Britain with thoughts turning to warm, dry beds and perhaps a beer or two! This evening Simon Harwood's Prima 38, Talisman, was an agonising 30 miles from the finish line off the Royal Yacht Squadron and is hoping for favourable conditions to get home before last orders this evening whilst for Penny Pariso's, Predator of Wight and Kieran Jameson's Changeling they will be looking at another night at sea at the very least with over 100 miles left to go.

Finishing at 1817 hrs the tired crew headed back to their home port of Hamble after receiving their congratulatory champagne where they will no doubt reflect on a terrific race around Britain and Ireland with Minnie the Moocher finishing 8th on the water.

Conditions were tough through the night with a vicious seaway and winds that gusted above 30 knots that saw many of the fleet heavily reefed and opting for a 'safety first' approach to the conditions.
